Under the Yumeru Studios Roof

A little context on where Dreammire Studios actually sits and what that means for the woods, and for what comes after.

We mentioned it in passing when we first opened this file, but it's worth saying properly: Dreammire Studios is a division of Yumeru Studios.

We're not a standalone Studio operating on our own, and we're not owned by some faceless parent with no interest in what we're making. Yumeru Studios is a games division they make games, publish games, and are building their own client and storefront, Yumeru Launcher, for releasing what they build directly. Dreammire sits inside that structure as the team specifically chasing psychological and survival horror.

What that actually means for us

In practice, it means we're not doing this entirely alone. Yumeru Studios gives us access to shared infrastructure, publishing support, and eventually a distribution path once Lost in the Woods is ready for people to actually play, whether that's through Yumeru Publishing on other platforms or through Yumeru Launcher directly.

Worth being upfront: Yumeru Launcher is still a work in progress, not something you can use yet. We're mentioning it because it's part of the honest picture of where things are headed, not because it's live today.

It also means continuity. A studio without that kind of backing lives project to project, hoping the next one lands before the last one runs out of runway. Being part of Yumeru Studios means Dreammire isn't staking its entire existence on one release.

What it doesn't mean

It doesn't mean creative control gets handed off somewhere else. Lost in the Woods is still Dreammire's story, told the way we want to tell it quiet, unsettling, built on the fears that don't need a monster to work. Being part of a larger structure gives us support, not a different set of hands on the wheel.

We wanted this out in the open early, rather than something people piece together later from a footer link. Yumeru Studios' own website is currently being reworked, so we won't link out to it directly just yet but it'll be there once it's ready.
